Kids Fun Christmas Crafts

Cole is a really great Dad.  He plays and interacts with Ashton and Jetta on their level and always manages to get all of us giggling and laughing.  No matter how busy Cole is he never passes up an opportunity to play with them.  It isn't rare to find Jetta recruiting him to be the King in her princess plays, or seeing the three of them running around the house with Jetta's version of superhero capes.  Daddy Tea Parties are a weekly activity. He is the perfect Dad and Husband.

I was lucky to get to sneak in a three mile run with my running friends before getting home and creating crafts with the kids.  A shower would come later... we had too much fun stuff to make to waste time taking a shower.

The little Artists made pictures of: strings of fingerprint Christmas Lights, Santa Sleigh Footprints, and Reindeer Handprints.  It was a simple night of activities that made a fun ending to a busy day.

Grandma D Birthday Breakfast

Crepes, fruit, Grandma Demaree's butterhorns, coconut syrup, and whip cream made a perfect birthday breakfast to celebrate Grandma Demaree's birthday.  The kids loved every minute of the little party.  We all feel very lucky to have such an amazing woman in our life.

Candy Cane Playdough with Ashton

Candy Cane Playdough is definetly going to be a new tradition in our family at Christmas time.  We got the idea from pinterest.  Ashton was really into it and loved that he was making something fun and special for his cousins and friends.

Snow Angels In The Desert.

Two good luck thumbs ups for their Daddy who was out of town taking the LSAT.  We had loads of fun playing in our wonderland snow storm but missed having him playing along side us.  Because of road closures and safety he got snowed in and had to come home the following day.  We got to spend the night at Grandma Robyn's and had a blast playing in the snow with her and Shelby.  Lots of giggles and lots of hot chocolate.  Grandma made cinnamon suckers, and other delicious treats.  She introduced the kids to a fun snow treat she would make and eat as a kid when the snow would fall. When Cole returned home we were excited to see him and excited to show him the snow that had fallen while he was away.  And another bonus Church was canceled because of the amount of snow.  We enjoy church (though we wish it was two hours shorter(: )but we enjoy just being together, playing, and making memories the most.  A fun weekend that could have only been made better having Cole with us for it.  Luckily he made it home before the snow melted.  And of course, it wasn't long before he was out playing in it with us.

Christmas Magic and Wishes....

I am biased but these are the cutest Santa pics ever! Enjoy....
Ashton anxiously waiting his turn. He's up next!

Jetta showing Santa her cute boots.

Jugging a chocolate milk to finish the fun night off.  We got to tag along with my friend Mary Jane and her kids to visit Santa at their school.  It was so fun and set up so cute.  Ashton and Jetta love Mary Jane's kids so the whole night was a big hit and lots of fun for all of us.
