Ashton turns the big six (part one)

Ashton
6 YEARS OLD
I love to:  Read, Play with Friends and Cousins, Play with Legos, Run Outside, Swim at my friend Emmy's pool, make snickerdoodle cookies, listen to Mumford and Sons, Play Settlers of Catan, wear my british shirt (the shirt I'm wearing in this pic at my birthday party), jump on the tramp at my friend Kaden's house, go down the hydrotube slide at the rec center, play with Jetta, miniature golf, go to the children's museum, wildlife museum, study my globe, memorize flags, read about presidents, learn about countries, languages, and countries, and go to the science museum in San Diego.
My favorite foods are:  Celery and Peanut Butter, Apples, Grandpa's Grilled Chicken, Carrots, Watermelon, Crispy Waffles, Breakfast Smoothies, Italian Sandwiches, and Armour Pepperoni (not Hormel - too spicy).
My favorite books are: My World Atlas Book, Human Body Flap Chart Book, Snap Circuit Science Book,  Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Number of the Stars, Insect World Book, Lego Building Instruction Books, flag book, president books, and Lego Movie Sticker Book.
My favorite color: Red
My favorite countries: USA
My favorite songs: Mumford and Sons, Johnny Cash, National Anthems, and the 
5th Symphony of C-Minor by Beethoven





                                      



































Ashton had a smile from ear to ear the entirety of his birthday party with his friends and family.  Thank you for coming and celebrating with him his special day.  Thank you for the generous gifts....An awesome world map blanket from his Grandma Robyn, much needed new red shoes from Grandma Pete along with fun information books, new lego from his best friend Emmy, new information book from Aunt Ceil and Aunt Theresa, new scooter, mouse trap game, and so many more gifts to even count.  He is one lucky boy.  Another huge thank you out to Ashton's Uncle Tyler and Aunt Amy who let Ashton celebrate his friend birthday party at Ashton's favorite place...Jumping Jacks.

Ashton we feel so lucky to be your Mom and Dad. We love you so very much.  Your sister loves and adores you.  We are very proud of you already in your short six years.  Everyday you shows us glimpses into the amazing strengths you have.  You are hilarious, loving, tender, intelligent beyond your years, fun, and caring of others.  You are our strong, and brave little boy who is willing to try anything.  We love little man so so much!
