After finishing up our fun Christmas Eve dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson the kids had a busy list of items to accomplish before going to bed. Their excitement was contagious. Because we don't have a chimney it was important for us to put out a key for Santa. Grandma Robyn found us the coolest Santa key that had magic written all over it. After setting out Santa's magic key the kids went to work on putting a plate of cookies and glass of milk together for the big red man. Ashton wrote up a sweet note to go with the plate of cookies. It is fun to see him writing so well and enjoying it.... oh how I love his awesome Kindergarten teacher. We then picked out our stockings and climbed up the stairs. Jetta was a goof ball during storytime as usual creating even more fun. She insisted on getting a picture of one of the books she chose to have read to her that night. The kids were pretty wiped from all the excitement. It wasn't long before they were in dream land dreaming of reindeer and the big guy. And though Cole and I were pretty tuckered out too we could hardly wait for morning to come to see their faces light up. We feel so lucky to have such neat kids. They are amazing kids. We love them and feel like the lucky ones to be their Mom and Dad.
I don't think that cupcake is for Santa....sneaky Jetta(:
Our beautiful Jetta lovin on her Mom.
